Power tools basics course
Requires woodworking basic knowledge
This is a short to the point course. No project, just learning and practicing how to use power tools safely. We intend to enable you to use power tools properly and safely and help you start your woodworking journey.
WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR:
- This course is suitable for woodworkers with basic knowledge about hand tools and types of wood and their anatomy (preferably equivalent to our ZERO TO HERO beginners’ course knowledge) or those who intend to start the power tools style of woodworking or if you own power tools already and seeking short training on how to use them safely.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN IN THIS COURSE:
- Learn proper use for most of the
- power tools you may use as a beginner.
- Learn principals of safety when using different power tools that are mostly used in woodworking.
- Learn about different types and brands of power tools and how to choose them.
- We will cover the following tools: table saws, mitre saws, circular saws, drills and impacts, trim and plunge routers along with router tables, different sanding machine types and of course we will learn about safety.
INVESTMENT & BENEFITS:
- Trainees will be part of the online community where they can share progress, knowledge and get support.
- Maximum of 3 participants per group.
- Payment is required to confirm subscription.
COURSE DURATION:
4 sessions over 2 weeks , 3 hours each to cover the basics of power tools usage in woodworking according to the announced dates.
Morning and evening rounds are usually available.mornings from 10 am till 1 pm and evenings from 6 to 9 pm.
REFUND POLICY:
- 50% refund if cancelled more than 1 week before the course start date.
- 20% refund if cancelled less than 1 week before the course start date.
- No refund after the course starts.
