This course is part of a series of courses prepared by Cairo’s Workshop, Cairo’s best design and woodworking school with Mr. Ramy Wafy, who has a bachelor of applied industries with over 20 years experience in the field of decor and interior and a certified teacher for decor technicians and the founder of ART of woodworking and decor on YouTube with over 500k followers.

This course intends to get you started in the field of wood carving. You will get to know about the tools and the techniques and will try different kinds of wood and the course will focus on the simple techniques that enable beginners to add a touch of innovation to their projects.

COURSE TOPICS:

Introduction to Carving and texturing.
Tools and their main categories.
Sharpening carving chisels and gauges.
Carving on natural and manufactured wood.
Practicing on basic strokes and techniques.
Practical implementation and applying finish to your project.

COURSE DURATION:

Total of 3 sessions 4 hrs each ( total of 12 hrs).
Sessions take place on Wednesday and Thursday for 2 weeks.
Morning round from 10 am till 2 pm.
Evening round from 6 pm till 10 pm.

INVESTMENT & BENEFITS:

Trainees will be part of the online community where they can share progress, knowledge and get support.
fees include all materials and trainees keep their projects.
Maximum of 6 trainees per round with no prior experience required.
Fees are 3700 EGP including all materials and supplies.
You receive a set of carving and sharpening tools and it is yours to keep.

REFUND POLICY:

50% refund if cancelled more than 1 week before the course start date.
20% refund if cancelled less than 1 week before the course start date.
No refund after the course starts.
