Basics woodworking course

Entry Level – Learning the Basics – Hand tools – Natural wood

This is not one of those “make a box” workshops, we are focusing on delivering a joyful experience with real learning, woodworking is a journey that we will guide you through. That is why we designed this course to facilitate learning, design problem solving and enjoying this amazing hobby. The program was thoughtfully designed to enable you follow your passion and discover what you really enjoy making. We will cover the vast majority of woodworking techniques and specialties in the theoretical and practical as possible in a way that enables you to work solely after completing the course. You will choose a project to build entirely by yourself from the collection we prepared for you so that you know you can, and you will be amazed by how far your abilities can reach, just follow your passion.
Just bring along your creativity and determination and leave the rest to us.

COURSE TOPICS:

Wood types and their suitable applications.
Wood joinery and methods of assembly.
Wood forming and shaping methods.
Buying and preparing wood.
Learning about hand tools.
Wood finishes.
Marking techniques.
Setting product dimensions and using templates if needed.
Safety and precautions.
Build a product and take it home with you.

TIMEFRAME:
8 sessions over 4 weeks morning or evening groups.
mornings from 10 am to 1 pm or evenings from 6 to 9 pm

Main: Sundays & Tuesdays.
Sometimes we plan additional days when in high demand and our schedule allows.

INVESTMENT & BENEFITS:

Trainees will be part of the online community where they can share progress, knowledge and get support.
fees include all materials and trainees keep their projects.
A workbench for each trainee.
Maximum of 6 trainees per round with no prior experience required.
This module fees will be 6750 EGP paid in advance.

REFUND POLICY:

50% refund if cancelled more than 1 week before the course start date.
20% refund if cancelled less than 1 week before the course start date.
No refund after the course starts.
