This is a short to the point course to teach you all you need to know about cabinet making and how to assemble a cabinet made of manufactured wood starting from setting your dimensions and preparing your cut lists. you’ll be also learning about hinges and drawer runners and you’ll build and install drawers and cabinet doors and will go home with a project you built yourself.
COURSE TOPICS:
- Learn about manufactured wood types, features and their standard sizes
- Learn how to design and calculate the cutting sizes for your cabinet components and what is a “cut list”.
- Learn different types of hinges for cabinet doors and how to calculate cabinet door dimensions.
- Learn the different ways of constructing a drawer and how to install drawer runners.
COURSE DURATION:
- Total of 4 sessions 3 hrs each ( total of 12 hrs).
- Sessions are conducted over 2 weeks.
- Morning round from 10 am till 1 pm.
- Evening round from 6 pm till 9 pm.
